Get involved Fundraise What can I do to fundraise? The key to fundraising is right there in the word - FUN! Anything you can do which raises money for Playlist for Life and raises a smile at the same time is fantastic and makes a real difference to people with dementia. Remember to order resources to make sure everyone knows why you are raising money. Here are just a few ideas to get you started... Organise a tea dance Combine some good food, good friends and good music in an old-fashioned tea dance! Hire a band, or put one together with friends. You could even ask guests to come dressed up! Sell tickets and organise a raffle, or have a quiz asking people to name artists and songs. Hold an MP3 Player Donation Drive Spread the word that you are collecting mp3 players for Playlist for Life, and combine it with a fun musical event. Set yourself a Challenge Why not set yourself a challenge and raise funds through sponsorship money? It could be something you've always wanted to do like skydiving, or you could pledge to walk or cycle to work, run a marathon, or even take the stairs every day if you work in a tall building. Go on – you can do it! Bake up a storm Have a bake-off or a coffee morning and watch the donations roll in as people struggle to resist the tasty treats on offer! You could have a particular theme, or keep it classic - anything is sure to bring in hungry supporters! Tell us what you do Whatever you decide to do for your fundraising, we would love to hear about your ideas and see your photos.
