Music for my Mind Wednesday 5 October 2017 Playlist for Life Chair, Sally Magnusson, and CEO, Sarah Metcalfe, were delighted to attend the launch of Music for My Mind in London yesterday. Music for My Mind is a fellow charity, founded by eminent physician Dr Keith McAdam, and shares Playlist for Life’s vision that every person with dementia should have access to a playlist of personally-meaningful music. Playlist for Life and Music for My Mind have been speaking now for more than a year, sharing progress and encouraging each other, while recognising our different strengths, skills and priorities. Earlier in the week, we were delighted that Dr Keith McAdam was able to divert his journey back from Uganda so that he could attend the Playlist for Life workshop hosted by the Edinburgh Centre for Dementia Prevention. Our two charities are so closely aligned in ambition and values that we hope we can do more together to reach as many people as possible as quickly as possible with the power of music.
