If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you should become a Playlist for Life Help Point.

Hundreds of community organisations around the UK are supporting people to use the power of personal music to help those living dementia by setting up a Playlist for Life Help Point. All the training and materials you need to get started are provided absolutely FREE!

What is a Help Point?

A Help Point is a place where people can get information about creating and using a personal playlist to help someone living with dementia. They are run by existing organisations already supporting people with dementia and/or their carers (e.g. community groups delivery shopping and prescriptions, places of worship, libraries, dementia cafes, carers centres and GP surgeries).

Help Points can be a physical location where people can pick up leaflets and materials about making a personal playlist, but many organisations have found new ways of connecting with their service users over the phone or digitally with technology such as Zoom. No matter how you reach your community, there are multiple ways for you to set up your Help Point and share the power of personal music.
