Read on to find out how you can contribute.
Why Playlist for Life should beembedded in dementia strategy
- Personalised playlists as a low-cost, high impact intervention
- Benefits for unpaid carers and families
- It directly aligns with the principles of the new Dementia Strategy for Wales like person‑centred care, co‑production, equity of access, and improved support for carers.
- Tying your impact and feedback into areas of consultation such as prevention, awareness raising, post-diagnostic support and support for carers
Why your contribution matters
As community Help Point partners, you play a central role in bringing personalised music into the heart of Welsh communities. Our aim is for everyone in Wales affected by dementia to have a personal playlist and for everyone that comes into contact with them to know how to use it. Sharing your experiences, successes and challenges can help bring us closer to that aim and in the process improve wellbeing for people with dementia and their families and carers.
