Government and Strategy engagement
In 2026 Playlist for Life contributed to the Welsh Dementia strategy consultation.
In 2023 Playlist for Life projects in welsh care homes were recognised by the Welsh Government. Events that recognised both homes receiving the Playlist for Life accreditation were attended by Deputy Minister for Social Services, Julie Morgan MS and Cardiff Council Cabinet Member for Social Services, Cllr Norma Mackie.
The Welsh Government shared a video from the event and said:
“From raising spirits to reducing anxiety, creating playlists has changed the lives of residents living with dementia at Ty Enfys Care home”
