Playlist for Life in East Lothian – in person event

Music as medicine – Sharing the power of music for people living with dementia in East Lothian

This free event will bring together community organisations, health & social care professionals and individuals using Playlist for Life resources and principles in their support of people living with dementia in East Lothian. The event is also open to organisations interested in finding out more about Playlist for Life. 

We will also be launching ‘Music as Medicine’, a brand-new resource developed in partnership with people living with dementia that will help you introduce Playlist for Life to the people you support. 

What will the session cover?

  • Playlist for Life’s connections in East Lothian and how you can share the power of music in your community
  • Practical steps to include playlist in your role
  • Discussion on ideas for using Playlist for Life in your work and identify potential collaborations 
  •

Playlist for Life Help Point Leaders, Community organisations, health & social care professionals and individuals interested in sharing the power of music in  East Lothian

This event will take place in The Star Room at John Gray Centre, 15 Lodge St, Haddington EH41 3DX. The venue is disabled access friendly and has free wi-fi.
