Come together with colleagues to raise awareness of the power of personal music for people living with dementia.
Mince pies have infiltrated the office, Christmas songs play in the background… the festive season is upon us! End the year on a high by raising funds that help us continue to support families affected by dementia across the UK.
We’re a small charity helping thousands of families by providing free support. But we need your support to continue.
I’m creating a Big Festive Playlist filled with music that John can enjoy over the holiday period. I’m asking others in the organisation to get involved by sending songs that have a special meaning for them to add to the playlist, alongside a small donation. I’ll then share the completed playlist on Spotify for all to enjoy!
My colleagues at Education Scotland have been extremely supportive through spreading the word about Playlist for Life and helping me fundraise. We’re even including the playlist in our organisation’s digital advent calendar!”
Thanks to Stephanie and everyone at Education Scotland for raising awareness of our work to help us reach even more people affected by dementia.
What does Playlist For Life do?
Our vision is simple: we want everyone with dementia to have a unique, personalised playlist and everyone who loves or cares for them to know how to use it.
Personalised playlists can reduce anxiety, improve your mood, make difficult tasks more manageable and evoke memories that can help families and carers connect. We harnesses the powerful effects of personal music to help anyone who is affected by dementia, their families and carers.
How can I help?
Awareness raising activities and fundraising are vital for us to support people living with dementia.
Any donations made will go directly towards our goal of sharing the power of personal music with those who could benefit most.
