Volunteer Office Assistant 

(2-4 hours per week, based in Glasgow)

This volunteering role provides the opportunity to become part of the team at Playlist for Life HQ in Glasgow and help us change the lives of people living with dementia through the power of personal playlists.

We are a busy, friendly office in need of help with general administrative tasks, to support the smooth running of day to day charitable activities.  We will match your skills, experience and interests to the tasks available, which will include any or all of the following...

  • Provide general administrative support including filing and photocopying
  • Maintenance of office space
  • Sending thank you letters to our supporters
  • Package and post merchandising orders to our supporters
  • Put together our campaign information packs to go to Help Points
  • Other duties as assigned

Successful Office Assistant Volunteers

  • Must be dependable, punctual and have a friendly manner
  • Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public
  • Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of Playlist for Life volunteers, partners, and donors
  • Computer skills are desired, but not necessary

Can you donate your time and skills?

We are looking for help Monday to Friday during office hours (9am to 5pm) and would welcome applications for any hours during these times. Ideally, we are hoping applicants can commit to offer 2-4 hours per week.
