Fundraise for Playlist for Life

Would you like to raise funds to improve the lives of people living dementia?

Dementia is one of the biggest public health issues of our time. Close to 1 million people live with dementia in the UK and that number is growing rapidly. Currently, there is no cure for dementia. But music can help.

Research shows that listening to personally-meaningful music can reduce the symptoms of dementia, support memory and communication, and help people to reconnect to loved ones and to their own pasts. In the midst of what can be a very isolating disease, music can be a lifeline.

Whether you have lived experience of dementia, are a music lover or just fancy a new challenge we’d love to hear from you. There are many ways to raise funds such as sponsored walks like The KiltWalk, running a 10k or a marathon, climbing a hill, hosting a fundraising gig, hosting a musical quiz or holding a musical tea.  By raising funds for  Playlist for Life, you can keep Playlist for Life support free for families around the UK who are affected by dementia.

Here are a few ways you can get involved. Or why not get in touch? We’re always happy to chat.
